WhatsApp is an instant messaging application available on iOS, Android, BlackBerry Windows Phone and Symbian. Founded in 2009, today it is used by more than a billion people around the world.
One of the primary features of WhatsApp is the ability to send free messages to one or several contacts, regardless of the destination country. This requires that users, who want to send or receive messages, have the application.
To create a WhatsApp account, open the application on your phone by clicking on the icon (a green bubble with a white phone).
Confirm your country code and phone number.
You will then receive a confirmation code by SMS on your phone (6-digit code). Enter it into the application to confirm the registration.
Once the registration is complete, you can then modify your profile with a photo, description and nickname.
Connecting to WhatsApp is easy!
Open the application. If your phone number is registered, you are connected!
Once the application is configured on your phone number, it is not possible to disconnect from WhatsApp.
You can also delete the data from the application on your phone or delete the application and relaunch it to register with another phone number.
To delete a WhatsApp account, open the application to access the "Settings".
Then click on "Account" and then "Delete my account"
You will then have to confirm your phone number to confirm the deletion.
