Tutorial on how to access the Facebook account

Facebook is a social media allowing users to post and share messages, photos, videos, livestream videos, and also instant-message through Messenger.

How to create an account ?

Go to the Facebook home page and fill up the sign-up form with your personal details : surname, family name, phone number or email address, password, birthday and gender.

 

 

Click on “Sign Up”. Facebook will also suggest you to add friends based on your email address contact list. You will receive an email to confirm you signed up for a Facebook Account : click on the “Confirm” button in that email.

How to login ?

Go to the Facebook homepage and enter your email address (or phone number) and password at the top right of the page. Click on “Log In”. You’re now logged in to your Facebook Account.

How to logout ?

When you’re logged in, go to the Facebook homepage, click on the down arrow at the top right of the page. Click “Sign out” at the bottom of the tab.

How to delete an account ?

You can either deactivate or delete your facebook account. To deactivate your facebook account, log in on Facebook and click the arrow at the top right of the page, click on “settings” and “security” on the left column, and finally “Deactivate your account”.

 

This will make you disappear from Facebook, no one will be able to look for you but messages and posts you sent before deactivating will still be there. You can reactivate your account at any time by loggin in.

 

If you want to completely delete your Facebook account, go to the Delete Account page and click “Delete My Account”.

 

 

Enter your password and the security text below, then click “ok”. Your account will be deactivated for 14 days before being deleted. If you log in during those 14 days, the deletion will be cancelled.
