The Oyster card is an electronic card used for public transportation in London and the Greater London. It’s a payment card for several transportation networks : London Underground, London Buses, London Overground, Tramlink, the Docklands Light Railway, some river boat services and national rail lines.
You have to get an Oyster card to create an Oyster account. Go to the Oyster homepage, enter the number on the back of your Oyster card (top right). Fill in your personal infos and then you will be registered. You can also add other cards on the same Oyster account.
Go to the Oyster homepage, and click on “Sign in” at the top right of the page, then enter your username and password, then click “submit”.
Go back to the Oyster homepage, and click on “Sign out” to log out of your Oyster account.
You can’t delete your Oyster account from the Oyster webpage but you can ask for your account to be deleted by calling the Oyster customer service at : 0343 222 1234
